How is the Sound Therapy Diploma Training Delivered?
The program is a comprehensive 300-hour part-time course, delivered over twelve months (approximately 5.8 hours per week). It is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to become certified sound therapy practitioners. The program includes online modules, recordings of practical training, and Zoom sessions.
Does this course include live in-person sessions?
This is an online course with online modules and content, designed to be accessible from anywhere in the world, with live monthly Q&A sessions integrated into the program where you can speak face-to-face with our trainers and guest facilitators. ASHA also delivers live in-person trainings as part of our ASHA Membership, where our ASHA students can access discounts to participate in these live sessions as part of their 12-month free membership with their training. Access to these recordings will be made available via the online learning portal.
Can I do the training all online?
Yes, the Sound Therapy Practitioner training can be completed entirely online from anywhere in the world. We highly recommend attending one of our discounted in-person practical sessions where available, however, recordings will be available online for those who are unable to attend.
When are the Zoom sessions?
Zoom support calls are held monthly over the 12 months to support you as you navigate sound therapy science, application, and build confidence as a sound healing practitioner.
How much time do I need to complete the diploma?
You will need to allow 5.8 hours a week to complete your studies within the 12-month timeframe. The online content and Zoom call sessions are available for 12 months, providing ample time for you to complete your studies and receive your diploma.
When can I start?
You can start the program at any time by registering on the ASHA website. Upon registration, you will receive access to the content and be able to attend the monthly Zoom sessions. Live in-person practical trainings are offered to our ASHA students at a discounted rate as part of your 12-month association membership (you will also have access to the recordings of these live sessions via the online learning portal).
What is the Certification?
IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapists) approved internationally recognized diploma with professional membership and insurance available for graduates. IICT is a global membership body that provides recognition and credibility for complementary therapists who work in 1,100+ modalities.
