Terms & Conditions

ASHA Sound Therapy Practitioner Training Terms and Conditions

By enrolling in the Australian Sound Healers Association (ASHA) Sound Therapy Practitioner Training, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Payment and Fees

To secure your enrollment in the ASHA Sound Therapy Practitioner Training, payment must be made in full or through an approved payment plan. No access to the course materials will be granted until the full payment or the first installment of the payment plan is received. ASHA reserves the right to cancel or suspend access to the course for non-payment. All fees are non-refundable, except as outlined in the ASHA Refund Policy.

Refund Policy

All payments, including those made under a payment plan, are non-refundable. Students are required to complete payment in full before receiving their certification. In exceptional cases of unforeseen circumstances, a written request for a payment extension or cancellation may be submitted to the ASHA Board of Directors. The decision to grant such requests is at the sole discretion of the board. ASHA reserves the right to cancel payment plans or memberships if students fail to comply with our Code of Ethics or other terms.

Attendance and Participation

The ASHA Sound Therapy Practitioner Training is self-paced, and students are expected to complete all coursework, assignments, and assessments within a 12-month period. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a 200-hour certificate in Sound Therapy. Active participation in online discussions, assignments, and other activities is encouraged to maximize the learning experience.

Code of Conduct

ASHA expects all participants to act in a professional and respectful manner. Discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Students are expected to respect fellow participants, instructors, and staff members. Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in removal from the course without a refund.

Intellectual Property

All course materials provided through the ASHA Sound Therapy Practitioner Training and other ASHA offerings, including the Sound Therapy Practitioner Diploma, are the intellectual property of ASHA. These materials are protected under copyright law and are for the exclusive use of enrolled students. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of any course content is prohibited. Students may not share or sell these materials, and any breach of these terms will result in legal action by ASHA.

Privacy Policy

ASHA is committed to maintaining the privacy of its students. Personal data collected during enrollment and throughout the course is used solely for course administration, communication, and certification purposes. ASHA does not share personal information with third parties without your explicit consent, except when required by law. By enrolling, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in ASHA’s Privacy Policy.

Filming and Photography Waiver

During ASHA events, including live Zoom sessions, participants may be filmed or photographed for training, assessment, and promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of these recordings and waive the right to inspect or approve any use of the film or photographs. ASHA is released from any claims that may arise from the use of these materials.

Liability Disclaimer

ASHA disclaims all liability for any mental, emotional, or financial issues that may arise during or after your participation in the course. The course is for educational purposes only, and ASHA is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from the application of course material. ASHA also assumes no liability for disruptions to the course schedule caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters or global events.

Course Access and Completion

Students have 12 months (1 year) from the date of enrollment to complete the ASHA Sound Therapy Practitioner Training. If a student does not complete the course within this timeframe, their access to course materials will be revoked. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have access to the course materials for an additional three years. After this period, access will expire, and further enrollment will be required for continued access to course materials.

Sound Therapy Practitioner Diploma

ASHA offers a 300-hour Sound Therapy Practitioner Diploma designed for advanced students. Diploma students will have a total of two years of access to the course materials, beginning at the time of enrollment. No lifetime access is granted for this course, and access will expire after the 2-year period. Diploma students are also expected to adhere to the same terms and conditions as other ASHA courses.
