All courses and memberships are non-refundable once access is granted.
Directory access is granted only to paid Gold Members. Listing information must be accurate and represent only services within the practitioner’s training and legal scope. ASHA reserves the right to edit or remove listings at its discretion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASHA disclaims all liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of this website, programs, or services. This includes indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, income, or business interruption.

By enrolling in the Australian Sound Healers Association (ASHA) Sound Therapy Practitioner Training, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
To secure your enrollment in the ASHA Sound Therapy Practitioner Training, payment must be made in full upfront, including when selecting a 3-month or 6-month payment plan. No access to course materials will be granted until the full course fee is received. ASHA reserves the right to suspend or cancel access for non-payment. All fees are strictly non-refundable, except as outlined in the ASHA Refund Policy.
All payments, including those under a payment plan, are non-refundable. Students must complete full payment to receive certification. In exceptional personal circumstances, a written request for extension or cancellation may be submitted to the ASHA Board of Directors. All such decisions are at the Board's sole discretion. No refunds will be issued due to:
● Change of mind
● Platform or internet access issues
● Economic blackouts, natural disasters, or shutdowns
Only current, paid Gold members are eligible for listing in the ASHA Practitioner Directory. Directory inclusion is a benefit, not a guarantee of income or referrals. ASHA reserves the right to:
● Remove listings for inactive or lapsed members
● Deny directory access for Code of Conduct violations
● Adjust or suspend directory functionality without notice due to maintenance or outages
The training is self-paced. Students are expected to complete all coursework, assignments, and assessments within a 12-month period. Upon successful completion, students receive a 300-hour Certificate in Sound Therapy. Active participation in Zoom sessions and assignments is encouraged for a richer experience.
ASHA reserves the right to update or revise course content, assessments, and delivery methods as needed to reflect new research, feedback, and best practices. Any changes will aim to enhance student learning while keeping additional workload to a minimum.
All students must act respectfully and professionally. Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will result in removal from the course without refund.
All course content is the intellectual property of ASHA. Reproduction or sharing without written permission is prohibited. Legal action will be taken for any breach.
ASHA collects personal data for educational and certification purposes only. Your data is not shared outside ASHA unless required by law. See full Privacy Policy on our website.
Participation in ASHA live Zooms and events constitutes consent to be filmed/recorded. These may be used for internal training or promotional purposes.
The course is for educational use only. ASHA disclaims liability for outcomes resulting from the application of course materials. We are not liable for disruptions due to force majeure events.
Students have 12 months from enrollment to complete the course. After completion, course access continues for an additional 3 years. Re-enrollment is required after that period.
Diploma students have 1 year of access from the date of enrollment. No lifetime access is offered. These students must adhere to all standard ASHA terms.

In the event of national or global economic disruptions such as blackouts, pandemics, platform outages, or payment processing failures, ASHA will make every effort to restore access to courses, digital products, and member areas.
However, no refunds or fee reversals will be granted under such circumstances. Your purchase or enrolment supports ASHA’s continuity as a registered not-for-profit, and ensures resources remain available when operations resume.
ASHA Sound Therapy Practitioner Courses and any downloadable content including audio files, templates, and certificates are strictly non-refundable. By enrolling, you gain immediate access to protected materials, and therefore forfeit the right to refund under consumer law exceptions relating to digital content delivery.
This policy remains in effect whether you do not complete the course, experience changes in personal or financial circumstances, or encounter temporary internet or platform access interruptions.
All ASHA memberships, including Gold, Silver, and Platinum tiers, are non-refundable once activated. This applies whether purchased directly or granted as part of a course enrolment or promotion.
Upon activation, members gain access to digital badge(s), member directories, insurance pathways, event invitations, and toolkits and education resources.
No full or partial refunds will be issued for change of mind, early cancellation, inactivity or non-participation, or economic shutdowns or technical disruptions.
Membership fees support ASHA’s educational, operational, and advocacy efforts as a Public Company Limited by Guarantee.
ASHA provides an online Practitioner Directory as a benefit for eligible Gold members only. Listings offer visibility to the public and are intended to support professional outreach for qualified sound therapists.
By submitting a profile to the ASHA directory, you agree to maintain an active paid Gold membership, ensure listing information is accurate, and promote only services within your training and insurance coverage.
Your listing may be removed without notice if your membership lapses or if you breach ASHA's Code of Conduct. Directory visibility may be affected by technical outages or updates. No refunds will be issued for downtime.
